<span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:"">Theincreasing amount of digital exchangeable data generates new informationsecurity needs. Users expect that robust solutions will ensure copyrightprotection and also guarantee the authenticity of multimedia documents. In this project Image Watermarking usingLeast Significant Bit (LSB) algorithm has been used for embedding themessage/logo into the image. The designing process is carried out in theXilinx ISE design suite 12.4 and the hardware description language used isVHDL. The design is simulated and the waveforms are verified in the Isim(M.81d) simulator. Once the designing process is completed, the design isimplemented in the Spartan3 FPGA board.
