The tracking problem of maneuvering target is always the focus of people's research. To achieve accurate tracking of maneuvering target, the first problem to be solved is to match the established target motion model with the actual target motion model. At present, the commonly used models are multi model (mm), interactive multi model (IMM), switching model and so on. Multi model method is to filter a group of maneuvering models by Kalman filter, and the final parameter estimation is the weighted sum of the estimated values of each filter. Based on multi model, Shalom proposed interactive multi model method, which shows better robustness and tracking stability for maneuvering detection of disordered targets. Switching model is to establish maneuvering and non maneuvering models respectively Dynamic motion model, using maneuver detection to switch between the two models. Generally speaking, the tracking performance of interactive multi model is better.
