The empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is a 1998 Huang presented a new signal processing method, it has fundamentally altered the traditional idea of Fourier transform and Wavelet transform, multi-scale decomposition of the signal in nonlinear and Nonstationary signal processing with good performance. Bidimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) as an extension and expansion of the one-dimensional EMD, has a wide range of two-dimension signal processing applications, due to the complexity of two-dimensional signals, BEMD method also has some problems to be solved. In this paper, one EMD decomposition processes are discussed in detail and, analysis of common problems in one-dimensional EMD, elaborated the theory of one-dimension time-frequency analysis of EMD, one dimension is given concrete application of the EMD method. BEMD decomposition principle is introduced in this paper and the process, BEMD Decomposition algorithm is discussed several key steps in implementation. 8 neighbo
