A real-time image recognition system based on TMS320C6205 is designed. Saa7111 and FPGA are used to complete the image acquisition and storage without DSP intervention, and DMA is used to realize the parallel execution of image transmission and DSP recognition, Compared with the image recognition system based on acquisition card and PC, the system can improve the recognition speed by about 28.7% while maintaining the same image recognition accuracy
