Application background Matlab to write the dendritic growth simulation program, used for the study of the solidification behavior, no coupled flow field. Is a pure metal Ni program. Other pure metals can be adjusted by changing the thermal physical parameters. Key Technology In the simulation of the grain evolution, the computational domain is discretized into a square grid, using periodic boundary conditions. The initial phase field value is a random number which obeys normal distribution in (-0.001-0.001), and the second phase particles introduced in the simulation are round. The parameters of the simulation are as follows: dx=l, dt=0.1, p=36, k=0.5, L=1.0, m=1.0, the number of grid nodes is 300x300
