Fast video stabilization

Background we propose a new EF fi efficient video stabilization method based on dual tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT). Our approach relies on three unique techniques to achieve robust stabilization. Our RST technique utilizes the linear relationship between the phase change and characteristic displacement of dual tree complex wavelet transform for motion estimation in spatial domain. Our second technique involves determining the best smooth camera motion through linear programming. Our final technical qualification is that our motion smoothing process can't compensate for the large motion conversion. New video frames are synthesized to improve motion fidelity during these transitions in video sequences. The experimental results show that our method provides a powerful and stable video quality, and achieves the processing speed of QVGA up to 74 frames per second. The video implemented by MATLAB. As the first stage of video stabilization, the key technology is to estimate the motion between adjacent frames. The purpose of motion estimation is the transformation between the target image and the reference image, which is usually described in the transformed AF fi ne model. This is also known as the image registration problem for the motion compensation of the target image to align with the reference image.
