Adaptive Modulation and Coding for Mobile-WiMAX Us
no vote
In this paper we are going to discuss about the WiMAX implementation.  WiMAX is nothing but wireless transmission standard.  When the communication is made to happen, the data gets corrupted in the channel depending upon the SNR introduced by the channel. The WiMAX makes use of the multiple transmission technique called OFDM. Here our intention is to make the reduced BER even for very highly noisy environment (Very low SNR) and increase the data transfer rate. In order to obtain a very good BER, we are employing the Convolutional encoding and Viterbi decoding based error detection and correction. And to increase the throughput, we are employing the Adaptive Modulation techniques in the modulation part of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). The comparative study of the throughput and BER with respect to BER and modulation techniques is analyzed and studied.

Comparative Study between Several Direction of Arr
no vote
In this paper a comparative study, restricted to one-dimensional stationary case, between several Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms of narrowband signals is presented. The informative signals are corrupted by an Addi- tive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN), to show the performance of each method by applying directly the algorithms without pre-processing techniques such as forward-backward averag- ing or spatial smoothing.
