High dynamic range (HDR) image synthesis technology is a kind of scene image synthesis technology which uses high-speed computer operation to produce high-quality realistic effect. It is widely used in computer game development, medical image, remote sensing image processing and computer graphics. The dynamic range of high dynamic range image is very high. The so-called dynamic range refers to the ratio of the maximum value to the minimum value of the image brightness value. The larger the dynamic range is, the more details the image displays and the more realistic the visual effect is. Generally, the traditional image uses a byte, that is, 8 bits of space to store a pixel value, so the brightness level of ordinary image is only 256, which can not meet the needs of high requirements for scene details in many occasions. The high dynamic range image uses floating-point multi byte to store the brightness value of a pixel, which can fully represent the high dynamic range of the natural scene.
