IEEE 802.11a/g/n
no vote
Operating in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, IEEE 802.11a/g/n specifies 6 to 54 Mbit / s data rate per stream within the forbidden zone. If two devices can be added in "HT" mode with 802.11 n, then the top 20 MHz per flow rate is increased to 72.2 Mbit / s, the data rate is 13.5 and 150 Mbit / s, using the choice between 40 MHz channels. Using four different modulation schemes: BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM and 64 QAM, a set of error correction rate (1 / 2-5 / 6). Many options allow the system to adapt to the current signal conditions to optimize the data rate.
