Application background QAM synchronization examples, The QAMx_Synchronization_Mixed_CT_DT.mdl uses Simulink's variable step solver to create a Continuous Time QAM signal with both carrier and symbol rate errors. This is a relatively straight forward approach, to creating a TX, but is computationally expensive.
Key Technology There are two models demonstrating both carrier and symbol timing recovery for QAM modulations ranging in order from 2 to 256 inclusive.
