Robocode is a combat simulation engine for tank robot released on IBM's Web alphaworks in July 2001. Different from the usual games, the contestants must program the robot and design intelligence for the robot to command it automatically, rather than simply controlled directly by keyboard and mouse. Robocode is a kind of interesting competitive programming. With a few lines of simple code, you can create a living robot, a real robot that confronts other robots on the screen. You can see it galloping around the screen, crushing everything in the way. The robot is equipped with radar and artillery. The player can attack the opponent while avoiding the opponent's attack, so as to compare the score. Robocode allows you to learn and improve Java technology while having fun. Robocode also provides C version.
