Image pre-processing is the very first step to do in image processing. Pre-processing is done to remove all unwanted data called noise and to enhance image as much as possible in order to make region of interest more prominent. this could help in later processing and could help in achieving good results. One of the mandatory step to be do in pre-processing is image binarisation. it converts an image to a binary image with intensity value 0 and 1.
