Library management system is a typical management information systems (MIS), which mainly involves the establishment and maintenance of the database and front-end application development aspects. Former request to establish data consistency and integrity and security of data. While the latter requires applications fully functional, easy to use and so on. So I combined into the type library requirements, principles of MS SQL Server2000 database management system, SQL language, Delphi application design, Delphi database technology for a more in-depth study and application of the completion of the main library management system requirements analysis, functional modules, database analysis, and thus design the database structure and applications. Test results proved that the design of books management system to meet the lending, library staff and senior administrators needs.
