HIFU_simulator_v1.2.zip
4.0
Contains two modules. The first solves the KZK equation for the pressure distribution of an axisymmetric focused ultrasound transducer, produces salient plots, and dumps the computed data to the Matlab workspace. The second module uses the pressure distribution to compute heating and thermal dose according to a user-defined treatment protocol. Again plots are produced and data is available for postprocessing.

RANSAC-Toolbox-master.zip
4.0
(2004-now) In this project we are trying to construct a RANSAC framework that will enable us to perform parameter estimation robustly in different scenarios characterized by the presence of large quantities of outliers. We are developing methods that will speed up the convergence of the traditional algorithm, that will allow us to perform the fusion of information coming from different sources and that can cope with the presence of multiple models. We are also interested in characterizing the stability of the solutions found by RANSAC.

Abersim simulation software

Abersim is a computer program designed to simulate ultrasonic wave propagation in nonlinear, heterogeneous and absorbing materials (i.e., soft tissue). The program has been developed at the Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging (ISB) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) starting in 1999 and up to today. The main contributors to this program,

ultrasim07.zip

Ultrasim can handle 1D, 1.5D and 2D linear and phased arrays, and flat and curved arrays with many different footprints such as rectangular and elliptical. It also handles annular arrays, axicons and Bessel transducers. Each simulation consists of a numerical integration of the contribution from all sub-elements of a transducer. The transducer excitation can be either continuous wave (CW) or a broad-band pulsed wave (PW). The simulator is implemented as a toolbox in MATLAB.
