Fault Node Recovery Algorithm for a Wireless Senso
4.0
A Fault Node Recovery algorithm is used toenhance the lifetime of a wireless sensor network when some of the sensor nodesshut down, due to the energy depletion, hardwarefailures, environmental conditions etc. The algorithm is based on the grade diffusion algorithm combined withthe genetic algorithm. The FNR algorithm creates a routing table using thegrade diffusion algorithm and replaces sensor nodes using the genetic algorithmwhen the number of sensor nodes that are not functioning. The algorithm can result in fewerreplacements of sensor nodes and more reused routing paths.
