This paper discusses the design and implementation
of an OFDM modem used in wireless communication. The
transmission of binary and text file using OFDM with its protocol as
well as system parameters have been explained in detail. This
technique has high transmission rates over wire line and wireless
channels with protection from multipath fading which can turn out to
be a predicted technique in fourth Generation (4G) mobile phones. It
is an Ideal technique for bandwidth hogging applications like Video
