An Electronic Library System (ELS), also known as a Library Management System (LMS) is an enterprise resource planning system for a library, used to track items owned, orders made, bills paid, and patron who have borrowed. It also comprises of an expert system or an artificial intelligent system for determining whether a request would be received on approval or not, this artificial intelligent crawler thus enriches access to searched materials. An ILS usually comprises a Relational Database, software to interact with the database (one for patrons, one for staff). Integrated library systems separate software functions into discrete programs called modules, each of them integrated with a unified interface. The interface is then incorporated into a web based portal of its own. Thus giving access through the web link application of its own.
