This was during my internship at a reputed software company where i was required to analyze the traffic coming on their website.
Now , we have an access log file for the traffic coming on a website , this contains user agent strings which are required to find out the operating system used and the web browser from which the request is being made. SO, my task was to parse the given user agent string and produce the source of traffic , put it into a database and analyze it . this was done with the help of a php script.
