In the practical application of image processing, in order to meet the actual needs, the whole image processing process may only focus on some image objects, and the whole process is carried out around these image objects. According to the actual needs, an image can be divided into two parts: foreground (corresponding to the image target to be used in practice) and background (other non target areas in the image). In the crop disease diagnosis system, after image segmentation, in order to complete the final recognition process, it is necessary to extract and analyze the features (color, shape, etc.) of the target image region after segmentation. Therefore, image segmentation is very important in the whole diagnosis process.
